Selena Gomez is currently traveling the world on her Revival tour, and while she's continually turned heads with every show, her stop in Singapore on Wednesday was extra sexy. The"Hands to Myself" singer hit the stage wearing a two-piece leather ensemble, sunglasses, and a hell of a lot of confidence. While belting out some of her hit songs, Selena, who turned 24 earlier this month, looked happier than ever as she whipped her hair back and forth and smiled at the packed stadium of fans. The carefree show was a far cry from her performance in Indonesia last week. After breaking down in tears on stage, she took to Instagram to tell her fans that she's been feeling detached from herself and her music recently. She deleted the post shortly after, but judging from her latest show, things have definitely taken a turn for the better.
MANILA - Shrieking fans mobbed American pop singer Selena Gomez when she arrived in Manila on Saturday for a one-night concert.
ABS-CBN news video showed how security threw a female fan to the side as the "Hands to Myself" hitmaker made her way to her car outside the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
Filipino fans have been waiting for a quote some time for Gomez to bring her tour to the country. In 2014, Gomez cancelled the Manila leg of her "Stars Dance" tour due to personal reasons.
On Sunday, Gomez will perform at the Mall of Asia Arena to promote her second solo studio album, "Revival."
She surprised fans with a heartfelt Instagram post last week following her concert in Indonesia, revealing she needed to 'rethink some areas of my life creatively and personally'.
But Selena Gomez was living proof that the show must go on, looking stylish as ever in a sports luxe ensemble as she touched down in the Philippines on Saturday for her latest stop on her world tour.
The 24-year-old singer was the picture of composure as she made her way through the airport, despite the large throng of people surrounding her.
Selena was flanked by an army of burly security guards and airport personnel, who shielded her from the screaming fans all hoping to catch a glimpse of their pop idol.
The brunette was rocking a cool and casual look for her arrival in Manila, pairing a loose slogan T-shirt with a white satin bomber.
She wore her dark tresses pulled back from her face in tight braids and hid behind her sunglasses.

According to D’Marie Analytics, Selena Gomez is currently worth $550,000 per post on social media…but why? After all, she’s not as famous as her former beau, Justin Bieber (who’s ranked highest for male influencers), and not as news-worthy as her best friend, Taylor Swift. Instead, she’s surrounded by the most famous women in the world, while keeping a relatively low-profile. So why has she accrued more than 92 million followers.
Gomez’s posts are typically professionally shot and beautifully edited, but repetitive. There’s her posing in gorgeous slip dresses, wearing various forms of athleisure and military jackets in a barrier in front of her fans, and quietly promoting major brands, including Skinny Pop, Facebook and Pantene. To investigate how she started charging $550,000 for a single Instagram post, the Observer spoke to Frank Spadafora, the CEO of D’Marie and a former casting director, to find out what Gomez is doing right.

Love You Like A Love Song Lyrics
It's been said and done
Every beautiful thought's been already sung
And I guess right now here's another one
So your melody will play on and on, with the best of 'em
You are beautiful, like a dream come alive, incredible
A centerfold, a miracle, lyrical
You've saved my life again
And I want you to know baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat
Constantly, boy you played through my mind like a symphony
There's no way to describe what you do to me
You just do to me, what you do
And it feels like I've been rescued
I've been set free, I am hypnotized by your destiny
You are magical, lyrical, beautiful
You are, and I want you to know baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat
No one compares
You stand alone, to every record I own
Music to my heart that's what you are
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
I, I love you like a love song, baby
And I keep it in re-pe-pe-peat

Selena Gomez Sizzles in Maiden Performance in Malaysia
By: BIBI NURSHUHADA RAMLI - 26 Julai 2016 @ 12:44 AM
SHAH ALAM: Despite a protest by PAS Youth to have it cancelled, Selena Gomez's first ever concert in Malaysia went on as planned tonight. Gomez sizzled and thrilled about 4,000 Selenators (what Gomez’s fans call themselves), who thronged the Stadium Malawati to see the artiste perform. The 22-year-old singer-actress appeared on stage donning a long-sleeved black turtleneck and loose silk pants, flashing her fans a sweet smile before singing her most recent hit, Revival. She then performed songs including her hits Kill Em With Kindness, Love You like A Love Song, Hands To Myself and Come & Get It. It's so crazy to be able to travel the world and see all of you. I'm so thankful to be able to do this. "This is amazing. I'm grateful to be here," the singer gushed as she addressed her screaming fans. The concert tonight is part of Gomez’s 'Revival' world tour which promotes her second studio album of the same name, released in October last year. The Malaysian concert is part of the tour’s second leg, which also covers Asian cities including Jakarta, Bangkok and Tokyo. Having covered North America in the first leg, Gomez will also be holding concerts in Oceania and Europe next. The tour began in Las Vegas in May and will conclude in Mexico in December. This marks Gomez’s second solo tour, following her Stars Dance Tour in 2013. Kuala Lumpur was supposed to have been one of the stops, but Gomez had to cancel the tour’s Asian and Australian legs altogether due to personal issues. Selena Gomez's 'The Revival Tour Live In Malaysia' is presented by Cornetto and promoted by PR Worldwide.

BY DAWN CHAN - 20 JULY 2016 @ 6:50 PM
SHAH ALAM: The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) has given the go-ahead for American pop star Selena Gomez's concert at the Malawati Stadium on July 25. MBSA corporate and public relations division head Shahrin Ahmad said the approval was given on Monday and the concert organiser must abide by the conditions and rules. "Among the conditions include clothing guidelines, no alcoholic beverages, no use of drugs or activities involving the abuse of drugs, ensuring safety and to ensure the cleanliness of the surrounding area. "We have met with the concert organiser and have informed them of the conditions that they need to obey to. They have agreed to the conditions. "MBSA will also monitor the concert and ensure the concert organiser follows the conditions and rules," Shahrin said today. At another separate event earlier, Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Mohd Fuad Abdul Latiff said the security and safety at the concert would be heightened due to opposition by certain quarters. "In terms of security, we will be there to ensure that the situation is peaceful and there are no disturbances," he said. Meanwhile, Selangor Pas Ulama, Youth and Muslimah wings handed a memorandum urging the Selangor government to call the concert off. Its Youth wing chief Hanafi Zulkapli said this was because Gomez brings about Western and hedonism cultures which clashes with Malaysian practices. "We hope the concert would not go on because it will pose a severe negative impact and social problems such as death as well as the use of drugs and alcohol, and free mingling of youths in the country," he said. Hanafi handed over the memorandum to Mohd Shahrizal Mohd Salleh, the chief private secretary of Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali at about 2.45pm at the lobby of the state secretariat building. Hanafi was accompanied by Selangor Pas Ulama chief Riduan Rahmat and Selangor Pas Muslimat chief Wan Hasrina Wan Hassan. Security was tight at the Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Building as the main gate was closed for entry at about 2pm while there were additional security guards on duty. Close to 100 Pas supporters waited at the main gate while Hanafi handed over the memorandum. All three chiefs then addressed the crowd before dispersing at 3.15pm.

BY DAWN CHAN - 20 JULY 2016 @ 3:41 PM Facebook 139 Twitter Share 139 SHAH ALAM: The safety and security at the Malawati Stadium will be heightened should singer Selena Gomez's concert proceed on July 25. Selangor deputy police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Mohd Fuad Abdul Latiff said this was because the concert has met with opposition by certain quarters. "In terms of security matters, we will be there to ensure that the situation is peaceful and there are no disturbances," he said. Fuad said this after the pinning of the Assistant Superintendent ranks on six out of nine officers at the Selangor police contingent headquarters today. Shah Alam police chief Shafien Mamat said he received a letter from the Shah Alam City Council, stating that it did not agree that the concert should be held at the stadium. "The copy of the letter that we received stated that the council does not support the concert being held here. "However, there are four more days to the concert; we will wait and see if the council approves it. "Whatever the decision is, we are ready to handle security matters to ensure that it goes well," said Shafien. Pas Youth dakwah committee chairman Hafez Sabri had protested against the concert, reportedly saying that Gomez's image is sexy and holding the concert during the month of Syawal was disrespectful and would jeopardise its sanctity. Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali had said that the state government has no problems in issuing the approval should the concert organiser fulfills all ordinary conditions that are stipulated.

BY DAWN CHAN - 19 JULY 2016 @ 5:40 PM Facebook 3K Twitter Share 3K SHAH ALAM: Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azmin Ali says he is less concerned about Selena Gomez’s ‘sexiness’, and is more interested in the songs and lyrics. Taking a jab at Pas’ objection to the ‘Come and Get It’ singer’s upcoming concert in Shah Alam, Azmin said Pas should not get all hot and bothered by her sexy image. “(One's) sexiness is God's creation. What do we do? It is God's creation. “There are people who are sexy, there are those who are not. There are people who are beautiful and there are those who are not. It is normal but don't get excited about it. “I’m more excited about the songs and lyrics," he told reporters after attending the Shah Alam City Council’s (MBSA) Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations today. Pas Youth dakwah committee chairman Hafez Sabri had reportedly said that Gomez's image is sexy and holding the concert during the month of Syawal was disrespectful and would jeopardise its sanctity. Azmin, in response, said “All months must be respected.” Meanwhile, Azmin said the MBSA has yet to receive any application for the event from the concert organiser. The event is slated to be held at the Malawati Indoor Stadium on July 25. He said that as of about 10 days ago, the council has yet to receive any application and would look into it upon receiving one. "If it fulfills all ordinary conditions that are stipulated, the state government has no problem in issuing the approval."
